A tour poster has appeared online displaying Iron Maiden's alleged 2017 UK tour dates and the jury is still out as to whether this is fake or genuine.

The poster, which you can see above, features eleven dates in the UK's largest cities from May 4th to May 27th. It runs in chronological order and shows Shinedown as the support band.

We've checked the official websites for every venue and none of them have any concerts scheduled for the date that the poster says Maiden are playing there.

Slipknot to release latest single 'Goodbye' in February Slipknot to release latest single 'Goodbye' in February » 05 Jan 16
Slipknot have announced the release of latest single 'Goodbye' in February.

Slipknot rounded off 2015 with two huge Knotfest performances in LA and Mexico, whereas the nine piece bulldoze their way through European arenas this January including two UK dates with venerable thrashing mentalists Suicidal Tendencies in tow.

Corey Taylor had this to say about the song
'Goodbye is a very special song in the fact that, subject matter wise it's about the day we lost Paul(Gray, former bassist) and it's about when everyone in the band sitting in my house, without Paul and the silence was so thick that you could cut it. The numbness and the pain was so brutal that we really didn't know what to do so we just sat there for a while and slowly but surely we began to talk and really get to the point where we could cry, that's what the song's about'

Mon 8th Feb - Cardiff Arena
Tue 9th Feb - London Alexandra Palace
Wed 10th Feb - London Alexandra Palace
Fri 12th Feb - Birmingham Genting Arena (formerly LG/NIA)
Sat 13th Feb - Leeds First Direct Arena

Ian 'Lemmy' Kilmister R.I.P. Ian 'Lemmy' Kilmister R.I.P. » 29 Dec 15
Lemmy Kilmister Of Motorhead Passes at Age 70: 1945-2015:

There is no easy way to say this…our mighty, noble friend Lemmy passed away today after a short battle with an extremely aggressive cancer. He had learnt of the disease on December 26th, and was at home, sitting in front of his favorite video game from The Rainbow which had recently made it’s way down the street, with his family.

"We cannot begin to express our shock and sadness, there aren’t words. We will say more in the coming days, but for now, please…play Motörhead loud, play Hawkwind loud, play Lemmy’s music LOUD. Have a drink or few and Share stories.
Celebrate the LIFE this lovely, wonderful man celebrated so vibrantly himself. HE WOULD WANT EXACTLY THAT."

Since the release of our debut we have wanted to go back to the studio where it all began and it finally happened! The original studio owner/engineer, all of the great equipment and BLACK STONE CHERRY have been reunited for what I feel has been the most unique album we've ever made. We took it back to where it started and something magical happened! These new songs are the heart and soul of who we were in 2006 and who we've become. There is something very special about these songs and I cannot wait for y'all to feel them!”
